Lesley King-LewisLesley King-Lewis, joint chief executive, Action on Addiction

Lesley King-Lewis is the joint chief executive of Action on Addiction, formerly chief executive of Action on Addiction (AonA) which was the only independent UK research charity dedicated to finding new ways to prevent and treat substance abuse.

After graduating from Williams College USA (BA) and London School of Economics (MSc) she joined Barclays Bank International (Graduate Training Programme). Lesley spent nine years with Barclays including two overseas assignments, Johannesburg and New York.

She then moved into the voluntary sector, spending six years as development director at the National Art Collections Fund.

Lesley is also a trustee of the Barbican, European Community Youth Orchestra and the Alcohol Education Research Centre.
